This site is a tribute to Norman Smith, who was born in Birmingham on November 04, 1933. He passed away on 21st October 2016 after being diagnosed with COPD. This included Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. This is a particularly cruel condition and much more research is needed into it. In addition, as a family we sadly leaned everything we needed to know from the British Lung Foundation website which I thank them greatly for. Norman was and still is much loved and will always be remembered.
